Total installed capacity of eleven 48" x 36" 1,200
rpm electric-driven Western States centrifugals and two SE-1500/S
Silver-Weibull centrifugals.
Installed
separate A and B centrifugal stations in 1997. The staging
and mixer are 50' long for the A station and have installed
two silver SE-1500/S machines and six 48" x 36"
Western States centrifugals. The B station has a 36' staging
and mixer and has five 48" x 36" Western States
centrifugals installed. The machines are fitted with two air-conditioned
control rooms. A massecuites are fed to the machines by a
4,000 cu. ft. mixer and B massecuites are fed to the machines
by a 1,800 cu. ft. mixer. The stations each have dual molasses
pumps and oil lube pumps, and a 100 cfm air compressor. The
B sugar is moved by a 24" screw conveyors, and the A
sugar is moved by a 36” wide belt to a 30" belt
that weighs and moves the raw sugar to a sugar hopper or warehouse.
Installed three low-grade CC-6A Western States machines in
1989 and one in 2003 with a 500 sq. ft. Western States Stevens
Coil with automatic temperature controls to feed the low grade
continuous machines. All four of the CC-6A machines were upgraded
to a 100 hp. motor, which doubled their capacity. Also served
by a low-grade sugar mingler and one 10" by 12"
Nadler magma pump and a spare steam pump for pumping magma
to seed tank.
