Total installed heater capacity is 14,500 sq. ft. Cora Texas has four limed juice heaters with automatic temperature controls.

A new 6,000 sq. ft. Nadler juice heater was installed in 1993. The heater has 656 stainless steel tubes - 20' long, 1-3/4" diameter and 16 bwg. The heater has 41 tubes per pass and 16 passes.

A new 3,500 sq. ft. Nadler juice heater was installed in 1978. This heater has 400 stainless steel tubes - 24' long, 1-1/2" diameter and 16 bwg. The heater has 10 passes and 40 tubes per pass, with a juice velocity of about 8' per second. This heater was retubed in 1990.

Cora Texas also has two Nadler 2,500 sq. ft. heaters. These heaters have 288 copper tubes - 20' long, 1-3/4" diameter and 16 bwg. They have 24 tubes per pass with 12 passes and a velocity of 9' per second.

All heaters can operate on vapors from the pre-evaporators or on exhaust.
